For experienced, self-producing MLOs

Run your production. Know the rules. Get support when it matters.

Imperium combines W-2 employment, a written production-based compensation plan, remote flexibility from approved locations, wholesale lender access, company-owned technology, and practical operational support. Leads may supplement your business, but your relationships and execution remain the foundation.

Designed for licensed, experienced originators who can independently generate business and manage a pipeline. Imperium is not currently structured as a new-MLO training program.

The operating terms should be clear before the first conversation.

W-2 employment
Monthly draw against future commissions
Written compensation schedule
Three production bands
No fixed production minimums
Performance and compliance expectations still apply

No MLO-paid platform or technology fees currently
Leads may be provided but are not guaranteed
Company-generated and self-generated loans currently receive the same compensation treatment

Designed for experienced, self-producing MLOs

The draw is not a salary. The written compensation plan defines it as an advance against future commissions.

Built for originators who already know how to produce.

Imperium is designed for experienced MLOs who can build relationships, manage their schedule and pipeline, communicate proactively, and operate effectively in a remote environment. We provide infrastructure and help when issues arise. We do not provide daily production management or a beginner-level training program.

Mortgage Business Alignment Assessment

Compare your working style with the platform’s operating model.

This reflection uses job-related factors only. It does not score, rank, reject, or make an employment decision.

The Imperium Producer Compact

Clear expectations before you make a move.

Written economics

Every candidate who advances will receive the applicable written draw terms, compensation schedule, production bands, commission caps, payment rules, and benefits description before making an employment decision.

No surprise platform fees

Imperium currently does not pass platform or technology fees to its MLOs. Any future change must be communicated prospectively in writing.

Honest lead expectations

Imperium may provide company-generated opportunities, but lead quantity, quality, location, timing, conversion, and closing are not guaranteed.

Defined autonomy

MLOs manage their relationships, schedule, prospecting strategy, and pipeline activity. Imperium retains responsibility for company systems, licensing, compliance standards, advertising approval, lender relationships, and required supervision.

No file-by-file compensation negotiation

Compensation follows the written plan. It does not change file by file based on interest rate, APR, points, lender payout, pricing, transaction profitability, product selection, referral source, or borrower characteristics.

Written departure treatment

Pending-loan eligibility, reassignment, data treatment, and post-separation compensation follow written policies rather than informal decisions.

Compensation

A written compensation plan. No mystery math.

Imperium MLOs are W-2 employees paid under a written compensation plan. The plan includes a monthly draw against future commissions, three production bands, and defined compensation methods for lender-paid, consumer-paid, and qualifying business-purpose transactions.

Company-generated and self-generated loans currently follow the same compensation schedule. Compensation is not negotiated file by file and does not change based on an individual loan's interest rate, APR, points, lender payout, pricing, transaction profitability, product selection, referral source, or borrower characteristics.

The applicable schedule, draw-reconciliation terms, caps, earning conditions, payroll gates, and payment rules are reviewed in writing before employment.

Self-processing incentive

May apply when an MLO performs approved processing responsibilities under the final written policy, required licensing and payroll controls. No amount is represented until the approved schedule is published.

Remote-work allowance

May be available for approved work locations under the final written policy and applicable payroll treatment. Eligibility and amount are governed by the approved policy.

No employer-sponsored health or retirement benefits are currently offered. Legally required leave, payroll, and employment protections apply based on work location.

Lead Expectations

Leads may supplement your business. They should not be your business plan.

Imperium may distribute company-generated opportunities from time to time. Lead quantity, quality, geography, timing, conversion, and closing are not guaranteed.

The platform is designed primarily for originators capable of generating and maintaining their own client and referral relationships. Under the current compensation policy, lead source does not change the applicable compensation schedule.

Data and Departure

Clear rules for relationships, records, and pending loans.

Systems and data

Imperium owns its company systems, CRM, company social-media accounts, marketing infrastructure, and records maintained in those systems. System access is connected to employment and ends upon departure.

Personally sourced relationships are handled under Imperium's written data-transition procedures. Company-generated leads, active-loan records, compliance records, and company systems remain subject to Imperium's ownership, privacy, licensing, record-retention, and legal obligations.

Imperium may continue company-authorized communications where permitted and subject to recipient consent, communication preferences, and opt-out rights.

Closing-pipeline compensation

A departing MLO may remain commission-eligible on a loan that was already in the defined closing pipeline, funds within 30 calendar days after separation, and remains credited to that MLO through funding. A loan that is transferred to another company or reassigned to another Imperium MLO before funding is not eligible for post-separation commission. All compensation remains subject to the written plan, payroll gates, licensing requirements, and applicable law.

Imperium documents the separation pipeline and the reason for any transfer or reassignment. A loan may not be reassigned solely to avoid compensation that would otherwise be earned under the written plan.

Self-generated transitions

A self-generated loan or relationship outside the defined closing pipeline may be eligible for transition under Imperium's written procedures, subject to borrower choice, privacy, licensing, lender, investor, record-retention, and other applicable requirements. A transferred loan is not eligible for an Imperium commission.
